I am also interested in learning the basics of other languages because I find it very helpful to be able to read some basic words when traveling in other countries.

すごく人見知りなので、自分から話しかけるのがちょっと苦手で、挨拶だけで終わってしまうこともあります（笑）。今は海外にいるのですが、言語や趣味があまり周りと合わなくて、少し寂しく感じることがあります。日常のことや好きなことについて気軽に話せて、お互いに言語も学び合える友達ができたら嬉しいです。よろしく！
I’m really shy, so I’m not very good at starting conversations, and sometimes things end with just a quick greeting lol. I’m currently living abroad, but since my language and hobbies don’t really match the people around me, I sometimes feel a little lonely. I’d be really happy to make friends I can casually talk with about everyday life and the things we enjoy, while also helping each other learn our languages. Nice to meet you!

I am Amanda, a Cantonese in Hong Kong, want to push my English level from upper intermediate to advanced.
The way I expect to practise English is discuss social topics such as gender equality, globalization, population aging etc. If you like to practise English by discussions, drop me a line.
Watching English movies and studying movie scripts are my daily habits for improving my English.
If you are a Chengdu local, it would be a plus because this city is so beautiful.

I'm incapable of judging, because I don't believe there is right and wrong, but just different phenomena with infinite reasons behind them.
Having conversations over things that goes deep with people, like feelings and thoughts, attracts me more than so-called practical concerns (job, income, title, achievement, anything that society in general use to weigh your "worth")
I like drip coffee, playing badminton, video gaming, weight lifting, meditation, spirituality, and life!
I'm a good listener as well(I think😂), so if you have stories that need to be heard, I'm all ears.
